Olympus S Plan Fluorite 2X microscope objective.  This objective has a 160mm tube length (TL) and is used on Olympus BH2, BHS and Vanox microscopes.  It can be used successfully on other 160mm TL microscopes from Nikon, Zeiss and Leitz.  All glass surfaces are free from fungus, dust, and element separations.  It has an N.A. of 0.08 and does not require a cover slip.  The Olympus product number is 1-LB512.  The most recent list price was $915.00 in 2006.  This objective is a dealer demonstrator and is in pristine condition.
