Olympus IM inverted Phase Contrast microscope.  This microscope has been fully serviced and ready for immediate use.  Included are a two position tri-nocular body for photography, stage platform extensions, 45mm green filter, 15X Olympus WF eyepieces, ULWD condenser with 10X slide-out annuli, 4-position annuli block with brightfield position, 10X annuli, 20X annuli, and 40X annuli, 4X objective, 10X objective, 20X objective, and 40X LWD objective with cover glass thickness correction collar.  It should be noted that without the addition of a 20X and 40X slide-out annuli block the microscope is only capable of rendering phase contrast at the 10X power. These annuli blocks come up fairly regularly on Ebay.  The illuminator gives nice lighting with a 6 volt 15 watt lamp. The coarse and fine focus controls move smoothly.

This unit gives spectacular images in brightfield mode as well as phase contrast at the 10X position. All components of this microscope are Olympus parts. If you need a rugged affordable inverted microscope, this one is for you. It can be unpacked and placed on the counter for immediate use.
