Product Description
Fluorescent illumination adapter made by an aftermarket supplier (possibly made by Sutter) to fit a fluorescent attachment to the Nikon TMS inverted microscope. The fluorescent filter cube was made by Chroma and is labeled Fura-2. This system requires a fiber optic illuminator with light pipe, which is not included. This unit was removed from a functioning TMS. Installation requires drilling small holes to fit the light guide into the removable left-side plate on the microscope body.
