Product Description
Nikon Optiphot microscope suitable for most applications in transmitted light microscopy. In designing this particular microscope special care was taken to provide fatigue-free operation through long periods of use and easy rapid change of specimens by incorporating the outward facing nosepiece. The stand is of modern square design and is extremely solid, durable and stable. All controls are ergonomically positioned to provide maximum ease of operation.
Sold as pictured or can be ordered with options such as photo-tube and high-end objectives. As pictured the unit comes with standard binocular head, CF10X eyepieces, Achromat 4/X, Achromat 10X, Achromat 40X, and E Plan 100X oil immersion objectives, Abbe 1.25 condenser, 12V 50W tungsten halogen illumination. Configured on the rear of the microscope is a quick change filter selector with a diffusion filter, NCB-10 Blue filter and neutral density filters ND2 and ND16. It is a stellar performer giving crisp, sharp high contrast images. All controls move smoothly and all glass is free from dust, scratches, element separations, and fungus.
With the 50 watt illuminator, this microscope is of research grade and has many years of life left. It is in superb and flawless condition. It can be unpacked, set on the counter ready for immediate use.
