Nikon Microphot FXA compound DIC, Phase Contrast and brightfield research microscope.  Included are a CFN plan 10X phase contrast DL ph1 objective, CFN Plan 20X DIC objective, CFN Plan 40X DIC objective, CFN Plan 100X DIC oil immersion objective, and a CFN Plan phase contrast DL ph4 100X oil immersion objective. The eyepieces are CFW 10X WF and the Universal condenser 1.40 N.A. with DIC prisms for 20X, 40X, 100X, phase ring ph1, ph4, dark field stop and brightfield stop.  The Microphot comes equipped with a built in magnification changer (Mag factors: 1X, 1.25X, 1.6X and 2X) and focusing phase telescope.  Illumination is provided by a 12 volt 100 watt halogen source and flip in filters for blue, green, didinuim and 3-neutral density.  Two photoports are located on the top of the microscope and two additional 35mm cameras that are controlled by the pull out control pad.  The microscope has a uniquely tri-axial focus system.  It has a DIC nosepiece carrier with all components for DIC observations at the 20X, 40X, and 100X magnifications.  This large stable frame allows a multitude of accessories to be attached for any microscopical need.
