Nikon DS-EPI-FL-2 Fluorescent double staining (two filter cubes can be accommodated) accessory consisting of: main body tube with lamp centering controls, field diaphragm, housing for two filters blocks with slider control, and two Neutral Density sliders, (ND2 & ND4) The unit is in excellent cosmetic, optical and mechanical condition. All controls move as intended and all glass surfaces are free from dust, fungus, scratches and element separations. In order to perform fluorescent procedures a lamp house, lamp socket, HBO lamp, lamp transformer and fluorescent filter cubes will have to be added; these items are not included, only what is pictured. These units are becoming increasingly hard to find, so don't miss one of these. This cube is used with the Nikon Labophot / Optiphot series of Nikon microscopes.
