Nikon CFI Plan Fluor 40X oil immersion microscope objective infinity corrected for Eclipse microscopes such as the E400/600/800/1000 and 50i, 80i, and 90i. This optical produces images that are crisp and clear with high contrast and minimal flare. It has an incredible numerical aperture of 1.30 and a working distance of 0.20 mm. It has superior performance in bright field microscopy but especially in fluorescence. It requires use of a cover slip thickness of 0.17mm.
