This new Nikon Alphaphot YS2 Carrying Case is solidly constructed from molded plastic.  Featuring a comfortable top-mounted handle, strong hinges and reliable latches, you can confidently and securely transport or store your microscope.  Includes storage area for electrical cord and a covered compartment for stowing small accessories.  This case is only compatible with the basic Nikon Alphaphot-2 frame.  The case will accept the YS mechanical stage (Nikon part no. 78425) installed on the frame; however, the case will not accept the optional cord hanger (Nikon part no. 78507) installed on the frame.  Nikon Carrying Case #78511 - last known list price of $65.00.
