Nikon 40X Phase Contrast Ph3 DL LWD (long working distance) Microscope Objective. This objective can be used with the Nikon Diaphot TMS & TMD inverted microscopes as well as the Alphaphot, Labophot, Optiphot and Microphot series. The Nikon product number is 85503 with a list price of $573.00 when last sold by Nikon. This is a 160mm TL (tube length) objective with a NA (numerical aperture) of 0.55 and a WD (working distance) of 1.0mm. It is intended to be used with specimens with a vessel wall thickness of 1.2mm. All glass surfaces are free from fungus, dust, scratches, and element separations. This objective has RMS threads which will allow it to fit many different makes and models of microscopes. NOTE: The fact this objective will fit many nosepiece turrets does not mean it will provide satisfactory images - please consult with us prior to purchase if you have any questions regarding it's suitability for your intended use.
