Nikon 40X Long Working Distance (LWD) Microscope Objective Nikon old number 93165 and new number MRP05420.  It will fit the Nikon Eclipse series of  new infinity corrected inverted microscopes.  It also has some applications in an upright compound Eclipse microscope.  This is an Achromat Flat Field Brightfield Lens with coverglass correction collar capable of correcting for thickness of 0 mm to 2.0 mm. The working distance is from 2.7mm to 1.7mm and the numerical aperture (n.a.) is 0.55.  This lens is used but in excellent cosmetic and optical condition with all glass being free from fungus, dust, scratches or element separation.
