"New old stock" demonstrator Narishige MO-388. The MO-388 is a 3D Hydraulic fine control micromanipulator with hanging type joystick control. Highly precise manipulation with minimum of drift as small as one tenth of previous models enables long, stable recording operation. Since the minimum scale is one tenth of standard micromanipulator systems, ultra-fine manipulation is possible. Working distance is 500 microns, much greater than that of piezoelectric micromanipulators of 100 and 200 microns. This micromanipulator is a "new old stock" demonstrator unit and possibly has lost its charge; if so, it should be sent to Narishige for repressurizing, which is a nominal fee.
