This micromanipulator is attached to the similar MO-202 x, y and z-axis instrument (included - see separate listing for MO-202 details and picture) to provide an extra movement. It is fitted to enable a movement to be carried out along the axis of an angled micropipette. This is of particular advantage when inserting the micropipette into a cell. The smooth, vibration free movement of the needle tip in all four axes is controlled from a single joystick control unit.

Even though this micromanipulator is a demo unit, it has possibly lost it's charge and may benefit if sent to Narishige for repressurizing.
