Leitz  SM-LUX HL dark field reflected and transmitted light metallurgical microscope is suitable for most applications in reflected light metallurgical microscopy and transmitted applications.  In designing this particular microscope special care was taken to provide fatigue-free operation through long periods of use.  The stand is of modern square design and is extremely solid, durable and stable.  All controls are ergonomically positioned to provide maximum ease of operation.  

The microscope features a cross stage with a 6"X6" scanning area and a glass insert for transmitted light observation.  It is ideal for inspection and quality control of large wafers and photomasks in the IC industry.  Sold as shown in photograph with NPL Fluotar Bright, Dark 5/10/20 and 50X objectives, Periplan GF 10X eyepieces, 6V 20W tungsten halogen reflected and transmitted light illumination.   It is being listing as used but it is in perfect condition with all controls moving as new, binocular body in alignment,  optics are free from dust, fungus, scratches, and element separations.  The images produced by this microscope are spectacular!
